PRODUCT SALES ENGINEER ( VALVES)

Main Tasks include: 

  1. Develop and maintain strong business relationships with key departments across the clients, namely Engineering & Projects, to identify their technical needs relating to valves and actuators.
  2. Conduct regular visits to stakeholders across all Clients for follow up on current business and spotting new opportunities.
  3. Conduct surveys across all clients to develop an accurate and detailed database for valves and actuators product lines, record and keep track of their status and activities to initiate and develop business opportunities through proposing interventions, overhauls, upgrades, and replacements.
  4. Develop monthly action plans to meet or exceed sales targets set for each of the valves and actuators.
  5. Work closely with the clients through their decision making and selection process and seek opportunities to propose solutions and give a leading edge to valves and actuators products over competing products in new sales opportunities.
  6. Provide technical support to the sales teams through joint visits to clients to identify new opportunities and continuously increase prospect funnel.
  7. Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on progress for each of the valves and actuators and present forecasts and plans for the following month/quarter.
  8. Coordinate closely with the Service Center facility to identify and acquire service jobs.
  9. Coordinate closely with the technical teams across relevant OEMs to develop technical know-how and acumen regarding the assigned products.
  10. Work closely with diff erent departments to identify new opportunities.
  11. Manage the execution and documentation of supply projects for valves and actuators across all customers.
  12. Provide technical recommendations for upgrades, retrofi ts, and process optimization
  13. Lead preparation of technical and commercial bids, RFQs, and tender documents.
  14. Familiarity with international valve standards (API, ANSI, ISO, ASME).
  15. Support Key Accounts to achieve annual Sales targets of valves

Job Specification:  

Educational background:  

  • B.ENG in an Engineering or related degree
  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience.
  • Microsoft Offi ce, Google Workspace, Internet Skills
  • Requires 60% travel time to customers and client sites (Onshore and Off shore).

Competencies:  

  • Strategic and tactical mindset with passion for sales and networking skills
  • Ability to manage lead, negotiate & fi nalize deals
  • Experience in industrial technology sales
  • Experience in dealing with OEMs representatives
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic pursuit plans
  • Excellent writing skills and presentation skills
